Can anyone recommend a good 'Learn to play piano book' for grownups?

I got a couple of grades a few years ago, but probably could do with starting again from scratch. I particularly need help with learning to sight read as this always let me down in the exams! I just can't afford piano lesson fees and wanted to know if there were any good books out there that didn't involve playing nursery rhymes.
