Was asked if I was afraid someone was going to kiss me.?

sticking this in the Marriage/divorce section because the Singles one is filled with teenagers. and I want grownups' opinions. joined the online dating world a few months ago. One of the guys I'd been talking to, hanging out with made some odd comments the other day. I am not one who opens up straight away, but he's been patient. and our convo the other day I mentioned that alot of people seem to have been rubbing off on me lately. he could tell cuz I wasn't as quiet as I had been when we first met. and when referring to that, he said "you know I'm not gonna hurt you. are you afraid I'm gonna kiss ya?" uh, what the heck? where did that come from? (subtle hint perhaps?)
