Should i get the scene hairstyle?

I'm Puerto Rican so i have a bit of a tan, though i'm not super dark. I guess it's an olive skin tone. I've only seen pictures of the scene hairstyle on white girls, so i'm not sure how it would look on me and my skin color. If you have pictures, those would be helpful. :)
