Do indie guys like black girls?

I like this guy but he's white and indie looking and I don't know if he'd like me because of that. I'm puerto rican and white. I'm not ghetto or anything, or "thick" as people say. I'm pretty slim actually. I'm kinda offbeat myself. I have long dark hair, hazel eyes and I'm redish brown like native american brown, but I have a serious tan right now. Do you think he'd like me or should I leave it alone?
