I need help please answer?

Well I know this is a dumb question but who is considered black? Im puerto rican, cherokee indian, and portguesse on my mom's side and black and irish on my dad's side. I never really had a problem with my mixed race but now I would just like to know if people who are mixed race and had a little black in then are they considered black? Like for example I do consider myself a mixed race but my mom always told me people are going to look at me as black. Please dont judge im just asking a simple question
